// Why Gradient

What Makes the Difference

A few things that shape how we put courses together and why learners in Thailand keep coming back.

Incremental Pacing

Each lesson builds on the one before it. Nothing is skipped or rushed. You absorb each idea before the next one arrives.

Hands-On Practice

Every concept comes with practical exercises. You write real code, run experiments, and build something you can point to.

Mentor Guidance

Intermediate and advanced tracks include mentor review. Your projects get specific, written feedback — not automated scoring.

Based in Bangkok

Support runs on Thai business hours, in a timezone that works for you. No chasing help threads at 2am.

Portfolio Output

Every track finishes with a project you own. You walk away with documented work you can share with employers or collaborators.

Honest Scope

We describe what each course covers and what it does not. You know what to expect before you begin, and what to study next afterwards.

// Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Some questions people ask before starting a course at Gradient.

Do I need any prior coding experience to join the Foundations track?
No prior experience is needed. Step-by-Step Foundations is built for people who have never written Python before. It opens with the most basic concepts and adds complexity only when the earlier material feels settled.
How long does each course take to complete?
Foundations typically takes 6–8 weeks at a few hours per week. The intermediate track runs 8–10 weeks. The Optimisation & Capstone track is around 10–14 weeks, partly because the capstone project is self-directed. All tracks are self-paced, so you can go slower if you need to.
Are the courses delivered entirely online?
Yes. All content, exercises, and project submissions happen online. You study whenever your schedule allows. Mentor feedback is written and delivered asynchronously through the course platform.
What do I need in terms of hardware or software?
A modern laptop or desktop with a stable internet connection is enough. We work with free, openly available tools — Python, Jupyter, and a few standard libraries. Setup instructions are provided at the start of each track.
Is there a refund policy if I decide the course is not right for me?
We offer a 7-day review window after purchase. If you have started the first module and feel the course does not suit you, contact us and we will discuss your options. Full terms are available in our Terms & Conditions.
How is my personal information handled?
We only collect what is needed to run the course and communicate with you. Your data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising. You can review the full details in our Privacy Policy.
